The choir meets
every Tuesday in term time at Invicta Grammar School, Huntsman Lane, Maidstone
from 7.30 to 9.30. This season begins on September 8th.
If you are interested in joining come along to a rehearsal to see whether you enjoy it or contact the membership secretary. (See contacts).
Usually we have 4 concerts per year at the Mote Hall n Maidstone and one extra concert on Twelfth Night, he 6th, January, in a local church. You can buy or hire scores.
The choir is sometimes
invited to sing at other events such as the Maidstone Festival, weddings,
funerals etc.
Annual Subscriptions cost £80 (Students benefit from a discount).
We are a very friendly choir and you will be asked to sit next to an established choir member who will keep a friendly eye on you. If you decide to join the choir, you will be asked to audition after a few weeks when you know us. You will be asked to sing something familiar for our MD who needs to know which section of the choir your voice is suited to.
